Privacy Policy

IThinQ AI's commitment to protecting your privacy

1. Introduction

IThinQ AI ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our app, particularly in relation to your Google Calendar data obtained through Google APIs.

By using the IThinQ AI app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Google Calendar Data

Only if you choose to connect your Google Calendar to IThinQ AI, and only after you approve access on Google's consent screen, we access the following Google Calendar information:

  • Your list of calendars: the names and settings of the calendars available to the connected Google account, so you can choose which calendar IThinQ AI should use.
  • Availability (free/busy) information: when the chosen calendar is busy or free, including the start and end times of the events on it, so that customers are never offered an appointment time when you are unavailable. For events you create yourself, we keep only their start and end times, not their titles, descriptions, locations or attendees.
  • Calendar events for your appointments: we create, view, update, reschedule and cancel the calendar events for appointments booked through IThinQ AI, as required by the scheduling features you enable, and we notice when those events are changed in Google Calendar so your appointments stay accurate. We do not invite or email your guests through Google Calendar.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected Google Calendar data solely to:

  • Provide and Improve App Functionality: Accessing your calendar and events allows us to offer scheduling and calendar management features.

We use the information received from Google APIs only to provide and enhance the app's functionality. We do not use this data for any other purposes, including marketing or advertising.

4. OAuth Consent and Scope Details

IThinQ AI asks for Google Calendar access only when you choose to connect Google Calendar. Google's consent screen will then ask you to allow these permissions:

  • See the list of Google Calendars you're subscribed to: used so you can choose which calendar IThinQ AI works with.
  • View your availability in your calendars: used so that customers are not offered times when you are busy.
  • View and edit events on all your calendars: used to add, update, reschedule and cancel the events for appointments booked through IThinQ AI, and to read event times to work out your availability.

IThinQ AI uses these permissions only for the scheduling features you enable. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Integrations in IThinQ AI, or remove IThinQ AI's access in your Google Account permissions.

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating the app.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

6. Data Security

We prioritize the security of your data and implement industry-standard measures to protect it from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you discontinue using the app or request deletion, we will securely delete your data.

8. Your Choices and Rights

  • Access and Update: You can access and update your personal information within the app settings.
  • Revoking Consent: You may revoke the app's access to your Google data at any time via your Google Account Permissions.
  • Data Deletion: To request data deletion, contact us at support@ithinq.ai.

9. Google API Compliance

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google Calendar data solely to provide or improve the app's functionality.

10. Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us to delete it.

11. AI & Machine Learning Policy

We respect the privacy and integrity of user data obtained through Google Workspace APIs. We do not use Google Workspace data, including Google Calendar events and user information, to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models, including large language models (LLMs).

All Google data is solely used to provide, enhance, and personalize the IThinQ AI app's functionalities for individual users, in compliance with Google's API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use requirements.

12. TikTok

IThinQ AI lets a business connect its own TikTok account so that videos prepared in IThinQ AI can be reviewed and published to that account by its owner. Connecting TikTok is optional, and this section applies only if you choose to connect it.

Information We Receive from TikTok

When you connect a TikTok account, you sign in on TikTok's own authorization page and approve the access shown there. TikTok then provides us with your TikTok display name, profile picture, username and an account identifier that is unique to IThinQ AI (your open ID), together with authorization tokens that let us act within the access you approved. We never receive your TikTok password.

How We Use It

  • To show you which TikTok account is connected.
  • To ask TikTok, each time you open the posting screen, which audience and interaction settings your account currently allows.
  • To send a video, with the caption and settings you chose, to TikTok when you press Publish, and to show you whether TikTok posted it.

A person publishes. An AI assistant in IThinQ AI may prepare a video and suggest a caption, but nothing is sent to TikTok until you have reviewed it, chosen its audience and other settings, and pressed Publish yourself. We keep a record of what you chose and when.

What We Do Not Do

We do not sell TikTok data, share it for advertising, or use it to build profiles of people who view or interact with your videos. We do not access your TikTok messages, comments, followers or other videos.

Storage, Retention and Deletion

Authorization tokens are stored encrypted. They are deleted when you disconnect the account in IThinQ AI or when you remove IThinQ AI's access in the TikTok app. Disconnecting in IThinQ AI also withdraws our access at TikTok and cancels any posts that were waiting to be published. Videos you asked us to post, and the record of your approval, are retained as part of your business records in IThinQ AI in accordance with Section 7 (Data Retention); deletion requests are handled as described in Section 8 (Your Choices and Rights). Videos already published on TikTok stay on TikTok and can be deleted in the TikTok app.

Your Controls and TikTok's Own Terms

You can disconnect at any time under Connections in IThinQ AI, or in the TikTok app under Settings and privacy, Security and permissions, Apps and services permissions. TikTok is a separate service: its Terms of Service and Privacy Policy govern your use of TikTok and the content you publish there.
